The simple truth of the matter is that DiskState has lots of functionality to offer. Focusing on the main bit of functionality this application puts at your disposal, it must be said that DiskState will provide you with a clear view of how disk space is being used. You will thus be able to clearly see which files take up the most space on your disk.
Switching focus on the extra bits of functionality DiskState has to offer, it must be said that the application can remove junk files, find duplicates, detect changes to files in folder structures, uninstall applications, and more.

DiskState’s system requirements are incredibly low: 16MB of RAM memory, Windows operating system (32 o4 64-bit edition; anything from XP onward).
A setup wizard will help you install DiskState on your PC. Once it’s done, it will ask to open the ReadMe text file, run a DiskState introduction, and launch the application. I advise you to go through the aforementioned introduction as it presents important notes and hits that will help you quickly get started with DiskState.

The main panel on the application’s interface lists all your drives, displays their storage capacity, how much space is being used, and how much space is free. Click on a drive and you will be presented with disk usage info.
At the bottom of the application’s interface you will see a toolbar with buttons for several functions: find duplicates, access the Settings menu, open System Tools, and more.

As mentioned above, DiskState has a lot of functionality to offer. Here’s a quick look at its main features: view disk space usage, run the Disk Management tool, remove junk files, find duplicate files, run the default defragmenting tool, view reports, detect changes to files in folder structures, uninstall applications, extract boot blocks, and more.

You can enjoy DiskState’s functionality for free for a trial period of 14 days.

DiskState nicely blends together ease of use and handy functionality. It’s a must-have in my book!

Pros

If your computer runs Windows, it will run DiskState. In just a few moments you will figure out the interface. DiskState has lots of features to offer: disk space usage, remove junk files, uninstall applications, and more.

Cons

15-day trial; nag screen.
